Regatta clothing/equipment

Waterproof/windproof jackets and trousers will be provided. Please keep in mind that layering is always key with sailing, and be sure to check the weather forecast for the city of Hamburg before your arrival. Footwear: ideally non-marking soles, definitely something with grip. Please bear in mind that your feet might get clammy. We recommend bringing a spare pair of socks and shoes.

Sunblock is also highly recommended, even if it is cloudy.

Delayed arrival

Dresscode

Please see above. Additionally, we recommend casual wear and comfortable shoes throughout the event.

Facilities at the venue

You are welcome to leave your clothes and personal belongings with our staff and freshen up after the regatta.

Parking

The venue is located in the city centre of Hamburg with a difficult parking situation.

Prior sailing experience is not required!
